The NZ Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage (Level 5) is a great programme designed to equip you with knowledge, skill and confidence to start your journey as a qualified massage therapist. You will be joining an already successful sector of the allied health workers providing client centered care to individuals and communities.
The 12- month Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage delivered at Wellpark College provides an educational and training that supports the development of students to independent practitioners confident to deliver high-quality relaxation massage tailored to the needs of a diverse range of clients. You are introduced to the principles of professional touch and communication, and how massage can be used to support a person’s well-being in a safe, holistic and ethical way.
This qualification equips you with a comprehensive understanding of your role as a wellness and relaxation massage therapist addressing health and wellbeing whilst demonstrating professionalism. Upon successful completion of your course, you will qualify for acceptance into NZ’s professional body for Massage Therapy, Massage New Zealand (MNZ)

You will learn through face-to-face interactions in the classroom complemented by online learning methods (Blended Delivery) and apply your learning in our purpose-built student clinic. We support you to graduate, feeling confident in your abilities, and to be competent to set up and run your own practice or find employment within the industry.

Wellpark College offers NZQA accredited courses. This requires that the College participates in regular External Evaluation Reviews (EER). Copies of these reports can be found on the NZQA website www.nzqa.govt.nz. Wellpark College is on four-year review cycle. The last review considered Wellpark College as Category 2 – confident in educational performance and confidence in self-assessment.

- Wellpark College offers a tranquil learning environment, our campus is set in 19 acres of native bush and gardens, but we are still within walking distance of public transport hubs, the Westfield shopping mall in Albany, and close to local shops and cafes.
- The College offers new, modern classrooms, a holistic learning environment and the opportunity to network with students studying a range of natural health programmes from Naturopathy to Yoga teacher training. You will be studying alongside people who think and feel the same as you do about natural health and medicine
Clinical practice at our Prema clinic
- Apply your newly learned skills in a supervised clinical setting at our student clinic, The Prema Clinic. You will also be given the opportunity to participate in community events. Working with real clients ensures that you graduate with confidence and ready to start your exciting career in Massage
