Introducing Denise Cowan – The Prema Clinic Administrator

My role as Prema Clinic Administrator sees me working closely with Clinical Supervisors, clients and especially the students during their clinical practice.

I love the close interaction with all these amazing people and I am privileged to be a part of the journey our students take during their time in Prema Clinic.

I am here to support, guide and assist with all the things we do in the Prema clinic on the administrative side.

This begins with taking Orientation for each cohort and includes assisting with client support, maintaining Health & Safety protocols, supervising all reception and admin duties that students must do in the clinic and lastly to ensure Prema Clinic runs smoothly for all users.

Behind the scenes I liaise with Clinical and other Wellpark staff, manage stock control of consumables and equipment in the clinic, general housekeeping tasks and ensuring we are all always ready for clinic days, even in these trying times of Covid-19.

For the Naturopathy Clinics, we are now taking consultations and other appointments via zoom.

The Massage Cohort does not have that luxury sadly, we hope they will be up and running seeing their clients as soon as we are able to return to Prema Clinic and I am sure clients will be very keen to have massages again.

The highlight for me is seeing our wonderful students complete their chosen paths of study and graduate. A fitting acknowledgement of their hard work and a worthy celebration for all to share in.
