Statutory Information for Students and Prospective Students
Under the Education Amendment Act 2011, all private training establishments (PTEs) are required to provide prospective students with the following:
The total costs and other financial commitments associated with the programme or training scheme for which the student seeks enrolment. We cannot accept your enrolment until we are satisfied that you are aware of the total costs and financial commitments for your programme of study. We will provide this information at your interview and you will need to sign a declaration confirming that you have seen these. If you have a telephone interview, then we will send you the information and you will need to return a signed copy of the declaration before we accept your enrolment.
The cost of fees charged for student services provided by the establishment. Wellpark College does not charge any mandatory fees for student services. All students are offered a free 9 hour course in Essential Academic Skills. Free lunch time tutorials are held weekly to provide students with additional academic support. Students who require extra academic support beyond this, or who have not attended the Essential Academic Skills course, can opt to pay for one-on-one assistance at a cost of $15 per 30 minutes with an external free-lance provider (contact details available from the librarian).
