PREMA CLINIC – 2020
Hello from Prema Clinic.
What a year it has been for everyone. Prema Clinic was not immune to the changing landscape of Covid-19.
Our Massage Clinics were delayed, but we managed to see clients who greatly enjoyed their massages with our great, dedicated and committed students. Nothing like a massage to de-stress.
This was the culmination of their diploma which was completed in July just slightly behind schedule. As always, the feedback was very positive and we appreciate the understanding of our regular and new clients this year.
Our 3rd/final year Degree students (Bachelor of Naturopathic and Herbal Medicine) got off to a great start at the beginning of the year, but that was swiftly stopped in its tracks with lockdown #1. We were very fortunate and proud to be able to quickly adapt and go “online” for our consultations. This was a first for Wellpark College and we were blown away by the feedback from our New Zealand wide clients.
A huge thanks to our amazing IT team and a huge applause to our wonderful 3rd students. You were all amazing.
Our new normal resumed with face-to-face consultations at Prema Clinic, again for a short period and then lockdown #2 happened. Most of this was coincidentally in our semester break.
We reverted to online appointments again and all was well. We introduced extra precautions and Covid-19 pre-screening as was required by our governing bodies (NZQA, TEC and MOH).
We are now in the last few weeks of the clinical year and we have come through unscathed although perhaps like many of you a little battle-weary.
Huge thanks again to all the Wellpark staff, Clinical Supervisor, Clinical Tutors and the biggest thanks must go the wonderful clients we have seen this year and of course to the 2020 Graduating students.
We wish all the graduands our very best wishes for their future endeavours knowing they have excelled themselves as always and especially so this year.
