Summer study activities for International Students 2020

From Education New Zealand for International students -  Nov 2020 Encouraging international students to stay in New Zealand over the summer is currently one of the focuses of Education New Zealand. ENZ has been doing this by supporting the work already underway by providers and Regional Development Agencies, highlighting the activities and opportunities available to international students over the summer, including hosting the recent Your Great Kiwi Summer virtual fair. As part of this work and through a growing relationship with LinkedIn, ENZ has secured a number of licences for LinkedIn Learning and would like to offer them to your students over the summer period free of charge. ENZ see this as an opportunity for students to build their employability skills and continue preparing for their future. What is LinkedIn Learning LinkedIn...

We have some amazing tutors and staff at Wellpark College who rose to the challenge and enabled classes to continue. Teaching Neuromusculoskeketal Anatomy Classes to our Massage students and finding things like bony landmarks via Zoom was certainly interesting as were completing assessments for the Foundations of Herbal Medicine at home for our Naturopathy students, but we all pulled together and made it happen. Wanderlust Festival - A place to be. The event that makes big promises. “Wanderlust  is an experience that will leave you different than when you came — with new ideas, new friends, newly discovered abilities, and greater peace.” And delivers. “Unplug from the ordinary,” they beckoned… After 5 hours of road tripping from Auckland to Taupo we checked in, checked out, and proclaimed our intentions for the four days on a cardboard card collective wall. Mine was simple: Be. I wanted to unplug from the excess (thinking, doing, eating, sleeping, drinking, working, sitting in front of a desk...
